Custom OOAK Cleopatra Blythe Doll

This is a one-of-a-kind (OOAK) custom doll on a dark-skinned fake base. It features a 1/6 scale ball-jointed articulated body with black hair. As this is a handcrafted item, it is not “factory perfect” and reflects the unique marks of a handmade piece.

Modifications & Faceup

  • Carving: Face plate has been hand-carved.
  • Paint: Faceup done with acrylics, pastels, watercolor pencils, and mica pigments.
  • Sealant: Finished with a flat UV-filter varnish.
  • Neck: A neck joint has been installed to allow for head tilting.
  • Eyes: Gaze correction and “sleepy eyes” functionality.
  • Eye chips have been replaced: one set is handcrafted epoxy resin with glitter; three sets are glass.
  • Eyelids are painted and lashes replaced.
  • Pull Cords: Finished with decorative beads.

Handmade Throne & Accessories

The following items were designed and made by me specifically for this doll:

  • Wooden Throne: Laser-cut and engraved basswood. Features Egyptian hagiography and a painted finish. Measures 5″ x 3″ x 3 1/2″. Includes a small plastic brace to help the doll sit securely.
  • 3D Printed Items: Crown, crook, and flail (3D printed and hand-painted).
  • Sewn Items: Dress and blue cape.

Other Included Items

Shoes, necklace, and bracelets (Included to complete the look but not handmade by the artist).

Usage Notes for the Buyer

  • Eye Mechanism: Pull the cords carefully to avoid damage.
  • Display: The 3D-printed crown makes the doll top-heavy. Careful balancing is necessary to keep her stable on the throne.

NOTE: This is an art doll and should be handled with care. Doll parts will not be replaced if you break them.  Please inform me upon delivery of a problem. Colors may vary slightly based on your display screen. Various lights were used for photos, including natural, incandescent, blue-tinted, and fluorescent lighting. All purchases are final.
